PartnerPay is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our application.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

We collect your name and email address when you create an account. If you sign in via Google or Apple, we may also receive your profile photo.

Usage Data

We collect expense and payment data you enter into the app, including group names, expense amounts, and payment records.

Photos

If you choose to attach receipt photos, these are stored securely in Firebase Storage.

Device Information

Push notification tokens (FCM) for delivering notifications.

Language Preference

Your selected app language (Turkish, English, or Spanish).

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain the app's core functionality
  • To calculate and display shared expenses and debts between partners
  • To send notifications about expenses, payments, and group invitations
  • To display your name and email to group partners for identification

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Firebase (Google): Authentication, database (Firestore), file storage, cloud functions, and push notifications (FCM)
  • Google Sign-In: Optional authentication method
  • Apple Sign-In: Optional authentication method
  • RevenueCat: Subscription management for premium features

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on Firebase servers (Google Cloud). We use Firestore security rules to ensure users can only access data in groups they belong to. Photos are stored in Firebase Storage with access controls.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your name and email are visible only to members within your shared groups.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from within the app (Profile > Delete Account), which will permanently remove your account and associated data. You may also request deletion by emailing partnerpay.app@gmail.com.

7. Children's Privacy

PartnerPay is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
